Rebecca Bammert

This is Rebecca’s second appearance singing with the Charles Wood Theater cabaret. Her first performance was “Hand In My Pocket” from “Jagged Little Pill” You may also have seen her in GFCT’s “Radium Girls” as the reporter Sob Sister. Most recently she was in the ensemble for Broadway Update’s “American Idiot”. When not on stage Rebecca can be found making her comic Lonely Girl, singing feminist punk rock, and helping her community.

Kelsey Godfrey

Kelsey is so excited to be back performing a cabaret at the Wood Theater! You may have caught her in either the Bent Broadway or Y2K cabarets in the past. Or in 24 hour Playfest this past spring. Or at the Strand Theater performing with the Hudson River Shakespeare Company in either a work of Shakespeare or a classic like Sherlock Holmes or Dracula. Or simply singing her heart out at Downtown Social on Karaoke Wednesdays. If you enjoy the show, which you surely will, you can catch her next performance in 2 different Antov Chekov one-act plays on October 3rd and 4th at the Strand Theater. Kelsey is thrilled to be surrounded by such a talented cast in this Songs of Cinema cabaret and cannot wait to perform with them again soon!

Stephanie Grzegorzyk

Stephanie has been singing ever since she could talk. She started classically training in High School and College, where she got her AS in Vocal Performance. Throughout her early 20’s she performed at many open mic nights, sang in multiple bands, and had some solo shows. Now she is the General Manager of Dave and Buster’s in Albany but always finds the time to do what she loves most, which is to sing. That’s why she would like to give special thanks to Emily, Matt, Shelley and The Wood for giving her a platform to do her passion for the last 5 years!

Katie Hawksby

Katie’s inner theater kid has been showing lately with recent roles as Leaf Coneybear at SCT, in numerous cabarets with Bunbury Players and Company of Curiosities, and obviously with the Wood Theater (thanks for having me back besties)

Off stage she is often found zooming around in her Mini Cooper, drooling over the Chili’s Triple Dipper, or stuck at work trying to spread joy to her friends having a hard time at the hospital. She would like to congratulate her cast-mates for a wonderful show. She would also like to thank her friends, family, and her amazing partner- Jacob, for always supporting the next big adventure and loving her every step of the way.

Rebecca Manning

Rebecca is so excited to make her wood theatre debut in the Songs from Cinema cabaret! You can usually find her offstage choreographing or stage managing but she thought it was time to get back onstage. She would like to thank her amazing boyfriend for convincing her to do this and Emily, Shelley and Matt for giving her the opportunity. Enjoy the show!

SaraBeth Mason

Sarabeth Is so excited to be a part of this year’s cabaret it’s not often she gets to sing and is loving every minute of it! Usually you can find Sarabeth backstage running and designing props for several local theater companies including, for the past 9 seasons The Lake George Dinner Theater. When not backstage you can find her indulging in her favorite pass time reading either to herself , her daughter or her students at the Margaret Murphy Kindergarten Center where she is the library assistant

Sara Rice

Sara is so happy to be back on the Wood Theater stage doing what she loves the most ( besides her family) singing at the top of her lungs. When she is not performing she is singing to anyone who will listen at Fort Hudson Nursing Facility where she is an Occupational Therapist and being the best theater mom she can be to her 2 unbelievably talented daughters.

Lauren Risley

Lauren is ecstatic to be returning to the Charles Wood Theater main stage after performing “Back to Black” in last falls’ Y2K Cabaret. Favorite theater credits include Green Day’s American Idiot (St Jimmy), Rodger & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Stepsister Joy), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marcy Park), Alice in Wonderland (Mad Hatter), and The Addams Family Musical (Ancestor Bride, Morticia u/s). Lauren is Director of Development for Bunbury Players. She “thanks her family, friends, soulmate, and ‘fans’ for their endless love and support; to this extremely talented cast – love you all, break legs xoxo!”

Allison Schmitt

Allison Schmitt is so excited to be part of this wonderful tribute to cinema! Allison graduated from Penn State University in 2020 with a degree in Photojournalism and a minor in Theatre; she is currently the Digital Communications Specialist at The Hyde Collection in Glens Falls, NY. Allison has been seen onstage in the area in Glens Falls Community Theatre’s productions of “RENT” (Ensemble), “9 To 5” (Roz Keith), “The Addams Family” (Alice Beinike) and “School of Rock” (Ensemble) and at Fort Salem Theater in “Beethoven: Live in Concert” (Ensemble). She originated the role of Effie Witherman in Company of Curiosities staged reading of “Solstice: A New Musical.” Other favorite credits include “The Little Mermaid” (Ursula), “The Pillowman” (Michal), “Ordinary Days” (Deb), “Our Town” (Mrs. Gibbs), “High School Musical” (Coach Bolton), “The SpongeBob Musical” (Mayor of Bikini Bottom), and “Steel Magnolias” (Annelle). Allison would like to thank her fellow castmates and the creative team for their time, energy, and talent.

Carter Stanclift

Carter Stanclift is a senior at Queensbury High School and has been performing in musicals since his freshman year. He has played entertaining characters such as Sonny from “Grease”, FDR from “Annie” and Nicely-Nicely Johnson from “Guys & Dolls.”

Arianna Stewart

A singer-songwriter with a love for storytelling through music. Songs of Cinema is the perfect outlet for that. I always look forward to the cabarets at the Charles Wood theatre. They are a lot of fun, and working with the cast and crew is always a wonderful experience!

Barbara is thrilled to be returning to the stage with Songs of Cinema! Favorite roles include Claire (Ordinary Days), Elsa (Sound of Music), and Lady of the Lake (Spamalot). Special thanks to her friends, family, and colleagues from GFH for all their support!

Matthew Gaulin

This is Matt’s 5th cabaret at the Wood Theater! He really enjoys working with talented locals to bring these fun productions to life. He also gets to use his very limited choreography skills (shout out to the Gaulin arm raise) in these shows. Each year brings a new set of ideas and challenges that always work out well for the stage. Matt hopes that you enjoy tonight’s performance and will come to future shows at the Wood.
