Box Office FAQ

A ticket fee is an amount charged for box office software and services. Sometimes, this fee will be included in the ticket price, and sometimes it is listed as a separate fee. However, if you see this fee, it will exist regardless of how you purchase your ticket. In a rare case, the fee will be for credit card purchases only – meaning cash sales will avoid the fee. This will be clearly stated on our website in this case.

Yes! When you select e-ticket at check out, you’ll receive your tickets on your phone. You’ll be able to pull that up when you arrive, and our ushers will scan them right from your phone! Please be careful when screenshotting tickets – we’ll need to be able to see the QR code for each ticket in your order to scan each ticket in. There is a small arrow next to your QR code to click through each ticket.

Will Call is where tickets are held prior to the show to be picked up. You just go to the Will Call window, give the attendant your name, and they hand you your tickets! Will Call tickets are only printed for each event individually, so if you’d like to pick up tickets for a future event, just let us know! Tickets can be printed for future events at any time.

Our ticketing software allows us to look up and reprint orders anytime! If you lose your ticket, aren’t able to find your e-mail with e-tickets, or aren’t sure if you have them at Will Call – just ask! We will look up your order and locate your tickets.

Unfortunately we do not allow for seats to be held without payment. Payment is required to secure seats/tickets.

All sales are final. Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. Please check the event name, date and time carefully when purchasing. Pending availability, tickets can be moved within the same event to a different time or date.

Attending a Show FAQ

This will vary at each production as the production company varies. Most groups will have small snacks and soft drinks at all events for purchase or by donation, and select events will serve alcohol. If you’re attending a specific event and want to know what options will be there, just give us a call in advance!

Beverages with lids are permitted in the theater, however outside alcoholic beverages not purchased at the Wood Theater concession stand are not permitted. Additionally, food is not permitted in the seating area of the theater. Snacks can be brought in, but must be enjoyed in our lobby and concessions area.

The Wood Theater does not have any designated parking, but there are plenty of public options available downtown! Click here for a map of Glens Falls City Parking.

The Facility FAQ

The theater has 294 fixed seats, but due to the incline of the seats – you’ll have a great view from each one!

We do! Our front row is equipped with seats that pull out entirely to allow for a wheelchair to easily slide in or allow for patrons to sit without climbing any stairs. For this reason, our front row and balcony are always held when events go on sale to ensure patrons with accessibility needs are able to attend shows without issue. If you require wheelchair or accessible seating, please call the box office directly to make your reservations so we are prepared for your arrival and can remove seats as needed.

The cabaret space at the Wood Theater is a smaller, more intimate theater and event space. This space will hold anywhere from 20 to 120 people depending on its configuration. Events in this space are general admission and first come first served. This space is fully handicap accessible with no steps or risers and free standing chairs. If you have a large group you’d like to be seated together, just give us a heads up and we’ll reserve tables or chairs for you! This space is right off of our main lobby, with a door across from our large box office. An usher will scan your tickets there and welcome you.
