Last, but certainly not least of our 2026 Communit Last, but certainly not least of our 2026 Community Award Honorees - our Business Partner of the Year, Dickinson’s Delights! When we made the decision to streamline our Concession Stand in partnership with Mean Max, our intention came from a place of improved audience experience with the hope that maybe it could also raise money for the theater eventually. Dickinson’s Delights made that happen almost immediately. We have to shout out Todd Andrews, Glens Falls Community Theatre Board Member and Sound Engineer, for commenting on our Facebook announcement saying ‘get Dickinson’s Delights in there!’ Just a few days later, Tamberlyn called to say they would love to sponsor the Concession Stand. For Months, Dickinson’s has provided completely free, completely delicious products for us to sell for 100% profit towards our mission at all events. Even making fun, themed treats for different shows! We could not be more grateful to Tamberlyn, John and everyone at Dickinson’s Delights for their generosity. For sure the Sweetest friends the Wood Theater has! Perhaps our easiest decision in selecting our 2026 Perhaps our easiest decision in selecting our 2026 Community Award honorees, we are honored to be posthumously awarding Nancy Armstrong with the Lifetime Achievement Award at our Friday July 24th ‘The Greatest Show in Glens Falls’ Gala. Earlier this year, the theater community lost a truly incomparable icon - and it is our honor to gather her family and friends to present this award honoring her lifetime of impact in the community. Generations of artists that have graced our stage acknowledge Nancy’s role in their musical journey, as Nancy served as a Music Teacher for 39 years at Glens Falls Schools, as Music Director for Lake George Youtheatre for 9 years, and spent countless years as an integral member of the Glens Falls Community Theatre. As much time as she spent behind the scenes, she spent in the audience, too. Nancy was often attending her grandchildren and friends’ performances - always stopping by the Box Office to catch up or share photos and stories of her family on her way in. We look forward to celebrating Nancy and her lifetime of achievements and hope those who were touched by her will join us in celebrating, too. 🎪✨ | woodtheater.org/greatestshow
Meet our next Community Award Honoree - our Rising Meet our next Community Award Honoree - our Rising Star, Rhiannon ‘Annon’ Breault! Annon will be among those honored at our July 24th ‘The Greatest Show in Glens Falls’ Gala! For years, Annon has graced the Wood Theater stage with her effortless vocal and acting talents - whether it be in a Broadway Upstate production or as a Special Guest of Anthony Nunziata, audiences of all kinds have enjoyed her shine! Outside of the Wood Theater, Annon’s recent accolades include being a 2026 Top 10 Finalist in the lead performer category of the Proctors Collaborative High School Musical Theatre Awards for her role of Dorothy Brock in Whitehall Central School’s spring musical production of “42nd Street. Annon’s commitment to her craft shines through not only her hard work but through her eagerness to continue to learn and grow as a performer. Annon has participated in multiple Wood Theater Workshops, holding her own with performers and educators of all ages and skill levels. We are consistently in awe of what Annon has already accomplished and know her star is truly just starting to rise. We are so proud of you, Annon! Limited on-street parking is available downtown. Municipal parking can be found nearby the theater in public lots located on Elm, Ridge, South, and Oakland Street.
