Join us for a FREE night of scenes presented by members of our first Wood Theater Acting Workshop! For 8 weeks, members of the class have worked with Jarel Davidow to learn script analysis, character work, audition skills and more to hone in on their acting skills.

For the final class, participants will present 5 short scenes from various works to culminate their new or improved skills.

Join us, Thursday February 29th at 6:30PM on the Wood Theater Main Stage to watch and support their hard work! Admission is completely free and open to the public. No tickets needed, General Admission seating.

Donations to the Wood Theater will be accepted, but not expected!

Reality Competitive Dance Team, the official competitive dance team of The Body Barre Dance Studio, is proud to present Dancing in the Spotlight, our 3rd annual showcase.

2023 was a year of growth and achievements, the RCDT was awarded the 2023 ADCC Studio Of Excellence. Following this accomplishment, The RCDT (official upstate NY affiliates of the New York Dance Project) recently debuted its very successful collaboration of Clara and The Land of Sweets, December 2023, for the community.

COMEDIAN BRIAN GLOWACKI

MARCH 15TH

Brian Glowacki’s comedy feels like home. His playful style and originality have quickly taken him from a small-town class clown to a nationwide crowd favorite. Brian’s likability on stage paired with sharp observations on life have quickly catapulted him to one of the nation’s premier emerging talents. Brian is the national touring opener for comedian Bob Marley as well as headlining many clubs and festivals on his own. Most notably he became the first independent, local comedian to headline the historic Wilbur Theatre in Boston MA. “BGlow” has performed on the Funny or Die “Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival.” He received “Best of Fest” honors at Burbank Comedy Festival, Big Pine Comedy Festival and San Diego Comedy Festival. He connects daily to his growing audience on social media through short videos about his family and his travels.

FINDING NEMO JR

APRIL 18TH - 21ST

A Great Show to bring the whole family too. Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-twinning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

GLENS FALLS BREWFEST 2024

Sample brews from over 40 craft brewers while rocking to the live music of Dirt Cheap. All proceeds from this amazing community event benefit the Feeder Canal Alliance, a not-for-profit organization. The Feeder Canal Alliance is the steward of a 7 mile Towpath Trail in New York’s Warren and Washington Counties. This historic trail runs through Glens Falls to the Champlain Canal in Hudson Falls, providing a free recreational resource for the community at large.

Must be 21+ to attend. ID will be checked at the door.

Having first heard Cline on the “Arthur Godfrey Show” in 1957, Seger was an avid fan of Cline’s and constantly hounded the local disc jockey to play Cline’s records. OUT OF THE DARKNESS

MAY 10TH

Join us for a premiere of Out of the Darkness: The Descent! This locally made Fan Film was written by Todd Teal & Aaron Lambert and produced by AM Thirteen Films. Out of the Darkness explores the journey of a Superhero and all the emotional turmoil it takes to be one.

This 35-minute film is a unique exploration of mental health and will be followed by a Q&A and talkback with the filmmakers, cast and Laurie and Todd Teal who own and operate Integrative Wellness in Shushan, New York.

For the last 30 years, Laurie has worked in mental and integrative health specializing in trauma while Todd is her office manager and volunteers his free time providing hope to children through cosplay.

All proceeds received by the filmmakers from this screening will benefit SAMEHERE Global.

Worth: An Intimate Exhibition, an investigation of value and the art and artist, written and performed by Jessica Frances Dukes. Jessica Frances Dukes has been acclaimed for her multi-season series regular role on Ozark (Netflix), with the New York Times calling her performance “divine.” She can currently be seen starring in the Project Greenlight feature on Max, Gray Matter, as well as the series itself, and in a supporting role in the Paramount feature, Organ Trail. She made her Broadway debut at the Roundabout in Trouble In Mind, and has graced Off-Broadway and regional stages all over the country.
